On behalf of the board and staff of Athletics West, We’d like to say thank you for your selection to the Junior International Tour. We wish you all the best for your travels and competition.
To be able to represent your State in any endeavour is a unique opportunity, and you have achieved this with your athletics ability – congratulations! Traveling on behalf of your sport and State will allow you to meet other people, make new friends and explore a country and culture away from your home environment. This is an experience that you will never forget. The tour will not only strengthen individual bonds between you and your teammates, but also allow you to observe and appreciate the diversity of culture and customs of another country.
Absorb the experience, make new friends, and enjoy the competition and tours, but most of all…remember to have fun!

SINGAPORE ITINERARY
We’ll be jetting off to Singapore on Wednesday 2nd July, where we will be staying at Oasia Novena Singapore for 5 nights. During your time in Singapore, you’ll have plenty of activities as well as the chance to compete!
To help our travel & event coordinators work their magic, register on the Western Australian Little Athletics online registration portal! Once you’ve confirmed your spot, we’ll contact you with your final itinerary. We hope you have an amazing trip and please don’t hesitate to drop a line if you get stuck!

If the athlete’s parents are interested in joining the trip, we unfortunately cannot offer a set package for them. Travel and Sports Australia may be able to help you join the groups travel arrangements, but the use of the team bus and all transfers are exclusively for Athletes and Team Mmanagers.

All flights will depart from the International Terminal. Departing from Perth this is Terminal 1. Please refer to your flight E-Ticket for the Terminal in your destination city. Check in will be required at each airport, via the Kiosks or the relevant check in counters.
No online check in will be available.
Singapore Airlines are a full service airline, provided complimentary food & entertainment on-board.
Singapore Airlines offer their world-class KrisWorld entertainment system complimentary on-board. Alternatively, bring your own personal devices.
Private return airport transfers are included for the Athletes & Team Managers only on this package. Should you change your airfares to anything other than the group fares or arrange your own airfares, you will forfeit the transfers for those flights.
If you are a parent or guardian traveling, you will not have transfers included unless arranged with Travel & Sports Australia.
Economy Class: 1x 7kg Carry On / 1x 25kg Checked Baggage
Please arrive at the Perth International Airport at least 2.5 hours prior to departure.
Your passport must have at least 6 months Validity left on the document from arrival date back into Australia.

Australian passport holders do not need a visa to enter Singapore. For other members of your travelling party with foreign passports, please confirm visa requirements with your TASA consultant.
Prior to arriving in Singapore, the group must complete an electronic Singapore Arrival Card (SGAC). TASA and Athletics West are currently coordinating a group process for this requirement. Important Note: The arrival card does not need to be completed until 3 days before arrival. TASA and Athletics West will reach out with details regarding its processing.
