Who We Are

 

Travel & Sports Australia (TASA) is a family of passionate travel coordinators with three distinct departments: Sports, Conference & Incentive (MICE), and Luxury Travel.

We specialise in providing high-end, personalized travel experiences for clients looking for luxury and exclusivity.

Our MICE team specialises in planning and executing corporate events such as meetings, conferences, and incentive trips. We are highly customer-focused, with our company motto being ‘When the customer wins – we can’t lose’.

 

We are currently seeking a hardworking, motivated, and dedicated team player to join our Retail and MICE team. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Managing Director & Luxury Travel Expert and will assist in servicing and expanding our retail and MICE clients.

 

 

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Service incoming enquiries via walk-ins, email, phone, and online booking engine.
  • Prepare quotes, manage bookings, support client accounts, and process accounting.
  • Coordinate and lead extensive travel logistics, nationally and internationally.
  • Assist in the procurement of event product by liaising with airlines, hotels, and tour operators, as well as preparing pricing templates.
  • Manage group travel requests and arrangements.
  • Craft new events/packages and load products into our company booking systems.
  • Manage product inventory levels, risk analysis, and sales volume.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Be open to working overtime in peak periods.
  • Prepare materials required for client travel needs.
  • Assist in providing Marketing/Innovation with recommendations regarding the sales process and new ideas for servicing our clients.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in travel coordination or travel/group sales management.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Consistent track record in remaining organised while juggling multiple clients and events.
  • Ability to convert leads into sales while providing an utmost level of customer service.
  • Ability and dream to work within a tight-knit team. A great teammate who is willing to participate in staff events.
  • Technologically literate across the Microsoft Suite of products and Outlook and quick to learn new systems.
  • Positive person looking to support a growing and dynamic business.
  • Experience using CRS, Galileo, and flight systems.
  • Eager to learn.

We also love crafting unique travel experiences for companies from 10 people to 1000+ people. Our brand consists of three distinct departments: Sports, Group travel & Incentive (MICE) and Bespoke travel.

Our team is committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences by combining top-notch flights, accommodations, event tickets, cultural activities, and sports experiences to create unforgettable memories.

Reporting to the Sports & Events Manager, a position has become available for a hardworking, motivated and dedicated team player who can roll up their sleeves and assist in servicing and expanding our sports travel clients. Your role will be based in our Mount Lawley office.

 

What we need

  • – Service incoming enquiry via email, phone and online booking engine
  • – Prepare quotes, manage bookings & accounting, maintain online booking engine, support client accounts.
  • – Assist in the procurement of event product by liaising with airlines, hotels and tour operators as well as preparing pricing templates & event budgets
  • – Manage group travel requests and arrangements
  • – Create new events/booking packages and load product into our company booking systems
  • – Manage product inventory levels, risk analysis and sales volume
  • – Efficiently manage email correspondence

 

Who we are looking for

We are after a hardworking, organised individual with the following skills:

  • – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in travel coordination or travel/group sales management
  • – Understanding and passion for the travel and sports industry
  • – Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • – Proven ability to convert leads into sales and provide a high level of customer service
  • – Ability and desire to work within a tight-knit team
  • – Top notch communication skills
  • – Eager to learn
  • – Technologically literate across the Microsoft Suite of products and Outlook and quick to learn new systems
  • – The capacity to work both independently and as a team player
  • – Strong written and verbal communication, with strong attention to detail
  • – The ability to adapt & multitask
