CONFERENCE AND INCENTIVE TRAVEL COORDINATOR

(FULL TIME)

 

Who we are

At Travel & Sports Australia, we’re a group of passionate travel and event advisors who send our clients around the globe to major sporting events and destinations. We also love crafting unique travel experiences for companies from 10 people to 1000+ people. Our brand consists of three distinct departments: Sports & Events, Conference & Incentive (MICE) and Retail & Leisure.

Our team deliver unique travel experiences and solutions to our customers and corporate clients, combining the best in flights, hotels, event tickets, cultural and sporting experiences to build memories for a lifetime.

With growing demand and existing large corporate key projects, we are after a hardworking, motivated and dedicated team player who can roll up their sleeves and assist in coordinating and expanding our key group travel accounts (and more).

 

What we need

  • – Assist in managing and coordinating one of our major corporate groups departing next October
  • – Servicing group travel enquiries via email, phone and online chat
  • – Build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
  • – Assist in the procurement of event products by liaising with airlines, hotels and tour operators and preparing personalised pricing templates and proposals
  • – Create, manage and market company travel arrangements using our in-house technology
  • – Manage inventory levels and risk
  • – Quoting and managing client files including accounting using CCTE and in-house systems

 

Who we are looking for

We are after a hardworking, organised individual with the following skills:

  • – Minimum 2 years’ experience in travel coordination, events management or group travel
  • – Understanding and passion for the travel and conference industry
  • – Proven ability to convert leads into sales and provide great service at the same time
  • – Ability to work within a tight-knit team
  • – Top notch communication skills
  • – Proven track record in remaining organised while juggling multiple clients and events
  • – Ability to learn and adopt to new technology and systems
  • – Experience using CRS, Galileo and flight systems
  • – Preferred IATA ticketing

The candidate will also be required to assist our (lovely) Sports & Events team when necessary.

SPORTS AND EVENTS SALES CONSULTANT

(PART-TIME/FULL TIME)

Our team deliver unique travel experiences and solutions to our customers combining the best in flights, hotels, event tickets, cultural and sporting experiences to build memories for a lifetime. Our top events include the Toyota AFL Grand Final, Australian Open Tennis, Melbourne Cup Carnival, Australian Grand Prix and Superbowl.

Reporting to the Sports & Events Manager, a position has become available for a hardworking, motivated and dedicated team player who can roll up their sleeves and assist in servicing and expanding our sports travel clients.

 

What we need

  • – Service incoming enquiry via email, phone and online booking engine
  • – Prepare quotes, manage bookings & accounting, maintain online booking engine, support client accounts.
  • – Assist in the procurement of event product by liaising with airlines, hotels and tour operators as well as preparing pricing templates & event budgets
  • – Manage group travel requests and arrangements
  • – Create new events/booking packages and load product into our company booking systems
  • – Manage product inventory levels, risk analysis and sales volume
  • – Assist in providing Marketing/ Innovation with recommendations regarding the sales process and new ideas for servicing our clients
  • – Be a key point of contact on the ground at major events
  • – A team player who is willing to participate in staff events inside and outside the office

 

Who we are looking for

We are after a hardworking, organised individual with the following skills:

  • – Minimum of 2 years’ experience in travel coordination or travel/group sales management
  • – Understanding and passion for the travel and sports industry
  • – Proven ability to convert leads into sales and provide a high level of customer service
  • – Ability and desire to work within a tight-knit team
  • – Top notch communication skills
  • – Proven track record in remaining organised and focused while juggling multiple clients and events
  • – Technologically literate across the Microsoft Suite of products and Outlook and quick to learn new systems
