On behalf of the Board and Staff of Athletics West, congratulations on your selection to the Coles Australian Little Athletics Championships in the WA State Team. We wish you all the best for your travels and competition.
To be able to represent your State in any endeavor is a unique opportunity, and you have achieved this with your athletics ability – congratulations! Not only have you performed to a high level to earn your right to be part of the team, your parents have supported you in providing you with this opportunity. Make sure you stop and thank your parents for the support they have provided.

ADELAIDE ITINERARY
We’ll be jetting off to Adelaide on Thursday 25th April, where we will be staying at The Stamford Plaza Adelaide for 4 nights. This is a rare opportunity to compete at state level in a fun family environment. The 2024 Coles Australian Little Athletics Championship will be one for the history books, with Western Australia hoping to return home victorious!

All training sessions will be at the WA Athletics Stadium, with accredited Athletic Australia Coaches.
Half Day Team building including a training session and presentation with guest speakers and lunch on 24th March at 09:00 until 12:00
Training session including relay practice and team chant on 7th April at 09:00 until 11:00
Training session including relay practice and team chant on 14th April at 09:00 until 11:00
Training session including relay practice and team chant on 21st April at 09:00 until 11:00
Depart Perth at 07:15am for Adelaide on VA0712, arriving at 11:35am.

There are two packages on offer, all inclusive and land only. Please refer to the Inclusions stated above.
If the athlete’s parents are interested in joining the trip, we unfortunately cannot offer a set package for them due to the proximity to the travel dates and the uncertainty of numbers. However, they are more than welcome to make their own arrangements for travel and accommodations. Travel and Sports Australia may be able to help with your request – Call 0893819555.

If athletes wish to extend their stay with family or come on a later flight, they can make their own arrangements to meet the team managers at the hotel in Adelaide. If they wish to extend their stay after the program, they can then be handed over to their parents. We can process alternative flights for the athlete at additional cost, but please note that there will be no refund if the athlete decides not to take the flight included in the program.

All flights will depart from the Virgin Australia Domestic Terminal. Departing from Perth this is Terminal 1. Please refer to your flight E-Ticket for the Terminal in your destination city. Check in will be required at each airport, via the Kiosks or the relevant check in counters.
No online check in will be available.

Private return airport transfers are included for the group flights, all-inclusive package only. Should you change your airfares to anything other than the group fares or arrange your own airfares, you will forfeit the transfers for those flights.
