Some of the best vantage views in the house as the Formula 1 night race comes roaring back. Cheer on your favourite team as they line up on the starting grid, and watch the start and end of the race as well as a fiery display of fireworks once the checkered flag is waved. Seated opposite the team garages, Pit Grandstand ticket holders will enjoy sweeping views of the high-octane action on the Pit Straight.

In 2010, Heikki Kovaleinen stopped on the pit straight to put out the fire on his Lotus caused by a collision with Sébastien Buemi’s Toro Rosso. In 2016, Nico Hulkenberg’s Force India spun around upon contact with Toro Rosso’s Carlos Sainz and crashed into the pit wall only seconds after the start of the race.

Feel only good vibrations as the fearsome rumble of F1 cars roar beneath your feet and race across the picturesque waterfront stretch –a thoroughly exhilarating experience unique only to the Singapore race. Enjoy the magnificent fireworks display backdropped against the alluring Marina Bay once the checkered flag is waved. Commonly known as the Achilles Heel for most drivers, this challenging section sees drivers navigate four angled turns (16 to 19). Probably the best value-for-money pick of all the Grandstands.

2022 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX TICKETS: PADANG GRANDSTAND

For those chasing first-class musical entertainment coupled with insane driving speeds the Padang Grandstand is for you. Situated opposite the iconic City Hall and Old Supreme Court. Witness the drivers race towards the notorious Singapore Sling (Turn 10) at speeds up to 275km/h. Top off the action with views of iconic landmarks in the vicinity and fuel up on specially curated local and international cuisine at the nearby Portside Hawkers and Dockside Hawkers whilst revelling in the festival atmosphere.

Precision skills truly matter here –witness intense racing action as drivers attempt to out-manoeuvre each other for the best position at Sheares (Turn 1) after decelerating from speeds of up to 290km/h from the Pit Straight.In 2017, a spectacular collision right after the start line took out Max Verstappen’s Red Bull and Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen immediately, while Ferrari’s Sebastien Vettel spun out seconds later. Fernando Alonso’s McLaren was also damaged in the accident, forcing him to retire.

Feel the adrenaline rush as you watch the cars speeding straight towards you. Enjoy a bird’s eye view of the first three turns and cars exiting the Pit Lane. This seat offers you a prime position to witness the drivers jostle with each other as they negotiate the complex corners. In 2019, fans had a thrilling view of the collision between Toro Rosso’s Daniil Kvyat and Alfa Romeo’s Kimi Räikkönen which resulted in the Iceman’s retirement and the deployment of a Safety Car. It’s always action-packed and for that reason, Turn 2 is our pick of the grandstands!
