One of the great sporting rivalries of the past decade has been that of the Sydney Swans and the West Coast Eagles. With successive AFL Grand Final clashes in 2005 and 2006 and a string of matches decided by less than a kick, the level of public interest in this match-up reached great heights, not just in Perth and Sydney but all over the country.

The occasion now takes on increased significance for one man, with premiership Eagle Mark Seaby switching camps during the off-season trade period and becoming a Swan. Will he taste victory in his first hitout against his former club or will the boys from the west sour the occasion.
