Skilled Stadium has hosted some classic matches between the Cats and Eagles in recent years. One of these was in West Coast's 2006 premiership year when they staged an astonishing comeback. Trailing by 54 points midway through the 3rd quarter, the Eagles stormed home to win by 3 points in a truly amazing game. Throw in a number of close results, including a draw in the 2004 season and it's easy to see these teams love a good contest. A feature of recent battles is the midfield duel between brothers Adam and Joel Selwood, the talented pair casting allegiences aside in an effort to gain family bragging rights!

With the current crop of Cats having won their second flag in 3 years and boasting reigning Brownlow Medallist, Gary Ablett, they are always hard to beat down in Geelong. One side out to prove they can do it are the West Coast Eagles. Make the journey to Victoria's southwest coast to see it for yourself.
