2012 Anzac Day Blockbuster

Since AFL legend Kevin Sheedy instigated the inception of the now traditional Anzac Day clash between Collingwood and Essendon, it has become one of the most watched events on the Australian sporting calendar. With match crowds often topping 90,000 and a television audience that dwarves even that figure, it really is a spectacle not to be missed.

In 2012, Travel & Sports packages for this fixture offer a slight twist. With the Anzac clash falling on a Wednesday, it gives our valued clients the opportunity to spend a few extra days in Melbourne and see their own club (if it isn't the Pies or Bombers of course!!) in the same journey. Both Fremantle and West Coast play matches in Melbourne on the weekends either side of Anzac Day, as well as a number of other big fixtures in Rounds 4 & 5.
